Q - I’m new to guided sharpening it any real sharpening at all. I need the best upgrade that will be easiest to use and get best results please
A - If you plan on using the WorkSharp Precision adjust with the original clamp, then the 4 inch stone holder is a good place to start. Pair that up with a set of Venev Cerberus stones, and you'll have a great system. The Cerberus stone set are diamond bonded, dual sided stones. You get 4 different grits in the set so it's excellent value for money. With these stones, you can sharpen any knife steel, including the high Vanadium carbide "super steels".

Make sure you also get the Leading Edge "V-block" clamp support. It is an absolute "must have" for accurate sharpening results.

If you want to eventually upgrade your WorkSharp with the Leading Edge magnetic platform system, or with a KakBritva clamp, then a 6 inch stone holder and 6 inch stones will suit you well.
