This is a diamond plated stone set. It's a thin layer of diamond plated onto a steel bar, mounted on an aluminum backing.
If you're looking for diamond stones with varying thickness, you're probably after diamond resin or bonded stones. Some examples would be - Venev, CGSW, Edge Pro Matrix, Jende Diamond, Nano hone and Poltava.
