Q - I have previously purchased the TSProf Diamond Plate Set for Edge Pro (4mm thickness) for use on my Ruixin Pro and am very happy with the performance. Can you suggest an ultra fine stone to compliment my TS Prof set? My stones are 4mm thick and most ceramic and ultra fine stones I see are 6-9mm thick on your site.
A - Try a Venev bonded diamond stone after your finest TSProf diamond plate. The 1200 or 1500 grit (Fepa-F rating) Venev leaves a very fine edge. Note that Fepa-F grit rating is vastly different to Japanese JIS rating, so 1500 Fepa-F is a very fine stone. Simply adjust for stone thickness when you swap stones with varying thickness. Make sure to use a digital angle cube.
