Looking at high quality boride set of 8 plates. would you recommend another type of plate? would also like to get mirror finish on knives. Do you have a higher grit up to 4000 or 5000 for final stone then strop?

A - The Boride T2 series set you are interested in, goes up to Fepa-F grit of F1200. This is equivalent to a Japanese JIS grit of approximately 4000. This is a good final stone to set you up for mirror polishing using loaded strops.
