What would be the benefit of this or the alpha set over a three piece set of spyderco ceramic stones?
Venev Centaur Series Dual Side Diamond Stone Set [6" x 1"]
Is there any benefit of both? Spyderco ultra fine is about 3 microns if I’m not mistaken so that wouldn’t be any different than a f1500, right?

These are diamond resin stones, meant to easily and effectively sharpen any steel - including modern high vanadium or similar carbide type steels. Spyderco stones use aluminum oxide as an abrasive, baked into ceramics. This type of abrasive works well but is not nearly as effective as diamond or cubic boron nitride abrasive on modern "super steels" / high vanadium carbide steels.
