Q - I am trying to figure out what is adjustable on this rotating module. Sounds like the two Allen screws on either side of the center hex nut are used to level the bar and the big thumb screw on the back adjusts how much resistance there is when rotating the knife.
What does the vertical screw in the bottom front of the unit near the clamp do?
Does the center hex nut adjust anything?
A - Yes, the two allen screws can be loosened to adjust the leveling of the rotating bar. The vertical screw in the bottom front is a screw that holds the bearing on which the rotating clamp bar moves. The center hex nut is merely the front of the threaded bar that passes through to the rear spring tension adjuster.
