The backing plates are aluminum, but the diamond is plated onto a steel plate which will be attracted to any magnetic surface.
Are the backing plates steel or aluminum? TSProf Diamond Plate Stone Set [6" x 1"]
Steel plates (like atoma) are an issue with my magnet supported sharpener.
Can you tell me please if these stones are going to be a problem with my magnetic sharpening system?
(The steel backed atoma diamond stone is a problem)
