Will this work on your finer grades of your 3x8 resin stones?

If it is a very fine stone grit and you only want basic surface cleaning then this will work. For deeper cleaning you'll need a Nagura stone and for flattening you'll need an abrasive like silicon carbide on a flat surface, or a diamond plate.
