What happened to the 1200-2000 stones? Why the new, coarser combo?

The previous 2000 grit Venev stones were found to have agglomeration of diamond particles, leading to stray scratch patterns below the grit rating. 1500 grit Fepa-F is a great final finish for knives and a good starting point for mirror polishing with loaded strops.
