What's the difference between these composite's vs leather

I see these come with composite material and there is a listing for the leather. What's the advantage & difference of these composite strops vs the leather strop set for the gunny juice?

In all honesty, it has a lot more to do with personal preference than anything else. You will get good results with either Gunny cloth or leather. Personally, I prefer a thin and hard surface for stropping so the edge isn't easily rounded. When it comes to leather, my preference is kangaroo because its very thin and strops well.
