Looking to understand for what purposes one would want one model over the other and what the associated tradeoffs are. Is there different compatibility with 3rd party accessories due to differences in guide rod diameters, rail widths, etc? Thank you

The model 100 is mounted level, and the Pro+podium has a swivel mounted platform. The model 100 also has a magnetic stop rotating bar system, the Pro+podium has an indent stop. All Kazak accessories will work or either sharpener.
As far as advantages, it will have more to do with your personal preference than specific advantages. FYI, the Model 100 is a later generation system from Kazak, but the Pro+podium is also an excellent system.
