Looking at the Wobble-Free Tapered Pivot and half the reiews mention broken off threaded parts. Has this been fixed?

This is mainly due to user error and over tightening or over torquing the plastic threaded rod. It was redesigned and strengthened quite a while back, but as with all plastic parts, it should not be torqued to the point of breaking it.
