Can you use the whole stone with the hapstone attachment this only let's you use 3 out of 6 inch of the stone

They should put a bigger drill hole on the bottom so it can go over the rod like the stock 1 does it's an easy fix to the design.this only let's me use the very middle of the stone which is wasteful

The latest version of this stone holder has a recess/slot for extra stone use range, and also has a slot to stow the holder uptight after sharpening. Check with Gritomatic to make sure they give you the latest version if you want it.
