Is this good to use on regular diamond stones as well? Directions? Use during sharpening or like a cleaner after?

Stone lubrication is largely a personal preference. Plain soapy water works, and regular plain mineral oil does a great job too. That said, this is a good product and works well. You can use a little bit on the stone while sharpening, and also a little afterwards to "float" the swarf to the surface and dab them clean with a paper towel. If you want to deep clean your diamond plated stones then use some dish soap, warm water and a nylon brush to clean them every once in a while.
