Effective for benchmade 940 osborne?
Hapstone RS Knife Sharpener
I own many different benchmade 940 osborne variations and have struggled with my M4 blade in my worksharp precision adjust because the blade is narrow and won't fit in the clamps correctly. Will this correctly clamp a benchmade 940 osborne blade level and true? Will I run into any other problems sharpening 940s?

These clamps work on a 940 blade. Just make sure to use both clamps, and tighten the primary clamp securely on the flat parallel part of the blade (right where the Benchmade logo is). Use the second clamp right by the hump of the blade, a little back from the tip. The primary clamp (at the BM logo) does most of the securing and the secondary clamp (just back from the tip), stops the blade from flexing up and down.
Hapstone also has a range of other clamps as optional extras if you ever need to clamp a knife that needs different types of clamps geometry.
