These are better for stock removal rather than polishing?
Venev Chameleon³ Series Dual Side Metallic CBN [6" x 1"]
Are these Stones typically better for stock removal then they are for polishing and for very high carbide steels do they work as well as diamond or do they prefer lower carbide steels? I've heard that higher carbide Steels don't necessarily share the material as much as they burnish

These work extremely well on high carbide steels, and work equally well on any legacy or basic high carbon steel. They don't do stock removal as fast as diamond plated stones, and they will not polish as well as resin based stones but they excel in being good all-rounder stones.
They remove steel adequately fast, without being too aggressive on the edge.
After a lot of experimentation, I prefer using them with oil as a lubricant and cleaner.
