Does this upgrade eliminate the play whenever you are extended further down the guide rod unlike stock RS holder?
The stock stone holder that comes with the Hapstone RS has quite a bit of vertical play when your stone is further down the guide rod which affects the angle and makes it so u can’t use the entire stone to sharpen your blade and basically limits you to half of the stone before the angle starts changing in the middle of each stroke. Super annoying! Does this new stone holder eliminate that vertical movement when the stone is further down the guide rod? That way u can actually use your entire stone without screwing up your angle.
