Answer Question
Should a stone be installed when calibration of axicube?
The original directions for the calibration of the axicube was resting it directly on the calibration plate. Now, I recently noticed that the calibration of the axicube should be performed with a sharpening stone installed, and resting the calibration plate.
I assume that Axicube calibration with a sharpening stone installed would be more accurate since stone sizes vary. I just want to be certain I am properly calibrating the axicube before sharpening. I’m sure a few tenths of a degree difference is not a huge deal, but I rather have the axicube calibrated the best I can before using it since I paid extra for it! Lol
Thanks!
