The original WSPPA holder repels my chef's knife. Is the Hapstone holder compatible with the Leading Edge base?
I've noticed that when sharpening my long Victorinox chef's knife with the original WSPPA stone holder, the magnets seem to repel the knife, making it difficult to sharpen.
I'm wondering if the original WSPPA holder has a built-in magnet. I'm considering ordering the Hapstone holder with a linear bearing. Do you know if it's compatible with the Leading Edge base?
